HK-72 Slitter and Reroller

ILS has been in the material coating and handling business for ten years.  Some materials cannot be slit with a traditional blade slitter or "baloney" type slitter.  The HK series of machines was developed to address the need for a versatile, low cost, roll to roll hot knife cutter.

A roll to roll slitter is capable of slitting any materials that can be rolled on a core.  This machine is a high speed inline hot knife slitter.  Variable speed drive runs at up to 200 feet per minute, perfect for man-made fabrics, like nylon, poly twill, vinyl, and foam.

HK series of machines can be built with up to twelve knives on our 72" machine.  The standard machine comes with six knives.  The machines are configured for 1.5" cores, but can be built for sizes up to 3" cores.

Larger machines can be built on a special order basis.
